A few weeks ago I was contacted by Ohio University's, Sandy Young, for the November 2010 issue of Thread Magazine. Sandy was just a delight to chat with and I think she did a great job of capturing what "Hedy Regal" is about.
What a beautiful day for the 3rd Sobo Style Arts Market that was held on Saturday, October 16th in Clintonville.

The Ruffle Canvas Tote bag . . . SOLD OUT. (Eggplant ruffle bag in lower right corner of photo). This is the fall version of the ruffle bag constructed of heavy canvas, and natural muslin with a burlap ric-rack trim. Includes a pocket for your cell phone and keys. Now taking orders!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these decorative pillows. Natural muslin, burlap, webbing and ruffles. A little industrial, a little feminine. Decorating isn't limited to the interior of your home . . . get a custom burlap pillow with your house number and toss on your outdoor bench. Makes a great house-warming gift! Now taking orders!
The shop was just swarming with folks oohing-and-ahhing over the feed sack bags and aprons that Becky and Elaine made.
. . . and brilliant lamp art by Claudia Curry . . . created from vintage and antique lamp parts and other tidbits like motorcycle gears and such.
Nicolle's history boxes, trays, and wall art were a hit. So talented!
Cindy, the creator of Cindygert sweater purses and bags. Impeccable construction and artful design. We will miss Cindy this next year as she and her family will reside in Germany for a while. Can't wait to see what she creates while abroad.
Heather Kramb's vintage collage jewelry? Well, who could pass that up? I HAD to snag a beautiful bracelet but only after MUCH debate over which one . . . She has an eye for the exquisite vintage gems and artfully collaborates it with crystals and buttons.
The antique creepy crawlies and animal prints that Mary brought were just perfect for
finishing one's spooky decor.
Thank you, Katie Palmer, for hosting a great event. And thanks to Crissy, Ally, and Lydia for all their help. Special thanks to Mary Kay for the delightful lunch and ohhhhh-so-good cookies!
I am so excited to participate in Sobo Styles 3rd Arts Market on October 16th, 2010, 10 AM - 6PM.

I adore the Colette Pattern collection . . . vintage-inspired classic womens skirts, tops, dresses, bloomers and now the Lady Grey coat.
I made the shop sample from a charcoal wool and lined it with a turquoise satin. Just lovely. I am teaching this class at Sew to Speak in Clintonville and already the first class is full with three more students on the waiting list. Space is limited, so if you are interested please contact Sew to Speak soon at 614.267.3011.
I had so much fun at this event. I just love the merchandising, meeting new people, catching up with old friends, networking with fellow artisans, and the joy of witnessing someone falling in love with something I made.
Our dear friends, Dominic and Polly Policaro.
What a glorious fall day!
Reusable canvas shopping totes stencilled with fabric paint. I love how the spray paint is a bit uneven . . . military-style. I made these pennants with ivory, Idaho potato, and black burlap . . . I could hardly wait to hang them in the booth! One of my favorites!
Jewelry Display Frames; vintage frames with burlap inserts . . . good for my show display, great as a bedroom jewelry organizer. Today, one found a home at Fritzy Jacobs in Olde Worthington, Ohio.
Vintage Bow-tie necklaces.
Halloween Cards: A fine-point Sharpie, vintage photos, and my sewing machine brought this cards to life.
Religious Medallion Necklaces
